Artists & Musicians

Westville is home to a large community of established and aspiring artists and musicians. Frequently there are art show openings, receptions, as well as artists' talks- and with Southern Connecticut State University campus being located nearby, there is a wide variety of events to choose from. Westville's reputation for the arts has also attracted the performing arts and many musicians with styles ranging from blues and jazz to ska and neoclassical. With three artist live/work complexes, five galleries, and many artist studios within close proximity to one another, Westville offers a space where art and artists can communicate, collaborate, and thrive.
