Westville Main Street

Westville Village is now designated a Connecticut Main Street

Recognizing Westville's unique attributes and challenges, local activists and volunteers have worked hard to secure this coveted designation for Westville Village. The Connecticut Main Street designation will enable Westville to work toward realizing it's full potential through the Main Street Approach (TM).

This very successful program of downtown revitalization has a proven track record over time of substantial reinvestment in older downtown commercial districts and their surrounding neighborhoods.

At a well attended press conference at Kehler-Liddell Gallery in Westville Village, WVRA President, Gabriel DaSilva, was presented with the Connecticut Main Street designation from Connecticut Main Street Center (CMSC) President and CEO, John Simone.
