Second Annual Garden Party in the Mitchell Library Courtyard
July 9, 2008
co-sponsored by Block Watch #303

Over 50 visitors came to the Mitchell Library courtyard for the    HPIM0145.jpg
Second Annual Garden Party  to make wind-socks for their gardens, plant sunflowers and release lady bugs.

A good time was had by all and the ice cream was a special treat on a warm summer evening.

Special Thanks to Sharon Lovett-Graff and the entire Mitchell Library staff & volunteers for helping make this  event possible. Thanks to Bennett Lovett for providing the music.

The new butterfly garden on the east side of the library is completed and there have been
butterfly sightings already.

The children planted planted flowers to attract butterflies in the courtyard.       HPIM0155.jpg

Watering the flowers proved to be a favorite activity.
