4:00-8:00pm - Community Art Project: The Exquisite ArtWalk Landscape at Kehler Liddell GalleryParticipate in this free community art project! Decorate a randomly-assigned 10x10" section of a 7-foot ArtWalk mural. Squares will be assembled on Saturday at 5pm and the  mural unveiled at 6pm. 5:00-8:00pm - Coruscations and Cotelydons: Sculpture by Gar Waterman & Photographs by Marjorie Gillette Wolfe at Kehler Liddell Gallery – Featuring two visuals at play- coruscations, sudden flashes of light, and cotyledons, leaves of the embryo of a seed plant, engage in conversations about the discrete phenomena that shape our environment and inform our aesthetic experience. Cyr, Suzan Shutan, Pawel Wojtasik, Chris Haag, Jacob Bricca, Jacek Malinowski, and Ted Lee. 845 Whalley Ave.

1-1:42pm - Exact Change: Elaine Peters & CoCo-Carribe Dance Troupe – Join artist Elaine Peters and her traditional Caribbean dance troupe CoCo-Carribe as they arrive at ArtWalk via the “B” bus at Central and Whalley Aves. This special performance through the Village and Edgewood Park is part of the Arts Council of Greater New Haven and CT Transit’s Exact Change program. The group will depart again on the 1:42pm bus at Fitch Street and Whalley Ave. enroute to the Green and Whalley Avenue. Click HERE for more details.

1-3pm - Chapel Haven Art Show at Webster Bank - Chapel Haven's Aspergers Syndrome and Reach programs, which serve men and women 18 years or older with social disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum, will be displaying their artwork outside Webster Bank's Westville Branch. 1-4pm - Food Sampling at Westside Bar & Grille - Come in and experience Westside's Cuisine.  A wide array of samples from Westside's menu will be available, 883 Whalley Ave.
1-4pm -  Live Jazz by The Jazzmen at Kehler Liddell – Browse Kehler Liddell Gallery’s current exhibition, Coruscations and Cotelydons: New Work by Marjorie Gillette & Gar Waterman, to the improv tunes of New Haven's finest local musicians. Featuring: Ken Belanic (saxophone, clarinet), Bob Gelfand (bass), Ken Kramer (trumpet), John Prins (keyboard) and Jim Wells (vocals, trombone). 873 Whalley Ave.

2-3pm -  Tours of St. Aedan's Church – Tour this fine example of Victorian Gothic architecture (1934) featuring several statues, stained glass portrayals of biblical lessons and characters and mural portraiture. Open House starts at 12 noon. 117 Fountain St.

2-5pm - Wine Tasting at Westville at Wines - Sample a variety of fine wines with guest expert Elliot Brause. PLUS Wine Raffle to benefit the Westville Village Renaissance Alliance's ArtWalk Fund. 837 Whalley Ave

3pm -  Organ Concert at St. Aedan's Church – Flutist Leila Victorino and Music Director Gregory Czerkawski will present a concert featuring music of J.S. Bach, Doppler, Poulenc and Guilmant. 117 Fountain St.

ALL-AGES ACTIVITIES IN EDGEWOOD PARK (11am-4pm)

PLAY-4-ALL - TryOutToys plays, teaches, interacts and entertains with juggling, hula hooping, poi swings, ribbon wands, diabolo/Chinese yoyos, flower sticks and an assortment of other cool, people-powered toys for children and adults. 

CLIMBING WALL - The New Haven Dept. of Parks, Recreation & Trees and Friends of Edgewood Park will have a customized 30' tall climbing wall equipped with 4 stations!

ART & CRAFT ACTIVITIES - New Haven-based community and school groups and neighborhood artists present a variety of art, craft and other fun activities to engage children and adults including:

12:00-5:00pm- Karen Rossi’s “The Gabriels” Restoration Project – Visit with renowned CT-based sculptor Karen Rossi and learn about the new effort to restore whimsical metal sculpture and very first public art commission, "The Gabriels" which as graced Westville Village at the corner of Blake St. & Whalley Ave. since 1985.

12:00pm - The Amples - The New Haven based The Amples perform unique renditions and an eclectic variety of classic songs by popular artists from the 60's to the present.

1:30pm - Caravan of Thieves Back again at ArtWalk by popular demand, Caravan of Thieves headlines our new stage at Blake & Whalley with songs from their upcoming album. Stretching the parameters of acoustic swing, they brings a unique brand of gypsy-flavored song-writing in a high intensity show.

4:00-4:30pm - WV: Spring Fashions '11 - As part of Fashion Weekend, Westville Village-based designers, clothiers, stylists and make-up artists team up to bring their newest spring trends and must-have items via a New York-style run way. Participants include: Authentic Beauty and Body Salon; Hair Power; Neville's Design Stuido; Odeon Botique; Pure Platinum; A Hair Studio; Rodrick Gilchrist Designs; Simonae Botique; and Soho Hair Group Day & Medi Spa.
